27.03.2007 : Givaudan and ChemCom partner for Olfactory Receptor Research in Fragrances development
Brussels, Belgium; Geneva, Switzerland, 27 March 2007 - Givaudan S.A. and ChemCom S.A. have entered into a joint venture agreement. The new company, named TecnoScent, will build on ChemCom's proprietary receptor technology and will focus on the discovery and development of innovative ingredients in the field of human fragrances. This partnership will strengthen ChemCom capabilities in human olfaction and Givaudan's sensory innovation and technology platform by creating a unique centre of expertise combining biotechnology and leading fragrance expertise and experience.
